DUBLIN GALLERY WEEKEND LAUNCH

Join us on Thursday 7 November for the launch of Dublin Gallery Weekend, kicking off the Weekend’s celebrations. The launch party will feature drinks, canapés, and a DJ set by Donal Dineen.

Wilton Park Gallery Hub is a new Dublin Gallery Weekend offsite exhibition space and a significant addition this year, allowing visitors to see artworks from all eleven participating galleries in one place. IPUT’s new Wilton Park development will host a specially curated exhibition showcasing leading Irish artists specially selected from the Contemporary Art Gallery Associations members by leading Irish curator and Director of the RHA, Patrick T. Murphy.

Kites above the Castle is Dublin Gallery Weekend Central Exhibition and is curated by Patrick Murphy. The show features work by contemporary artists from 11 participating Dublin Gallery Weekend galleries, including: Fergus Martin, Alan Butler, Siobhan Hapaska, David Eager Maher, Sasha Sykes, Ronnie Hughes, Corban Walker and Orla Whelan.

Opening Reception: Thursday 7 November, 6pm – 9pm.
