Solomon Fine Art

Solomon Fine Art, established in 1981, is recognised as one of Ireland’s leading contemporary art galleries and has built its outstanding reputation representing both Irish and international artists working in both figurative and abstract styles. The Solomon Gallery is particularly well known for specialising in bronze sculpture.

In recent years the Solomon has undertaken a number of significant projects that include mounting major off-site outdoor exhibitions in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin and the Village at Lyons in Kildare. In 2015, in conjunction with the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) and The Doyle Collection hotel group, Solomon Fine Art launched PORTFOLIO @ Solomon – a second pop-up exhibition space dedicated to Irish design & craft to coincide with the ID2015 Year of Irish Design.

Solomon Fine Art is now owned and run by Tara Murphy who started working at the gallery in 1994 under the directorship of former owner Suzanne Macdougald. Tara is a History of Art & Arts Administration graduate of University College Dublin and has over 25 years experience in curating, dealing and advising on modern and contemporary Irish art.
